DESCRIPTION
Copious inlaid folk art box with original surface and patina. Harks of maritime with monogram initials on the lid and abundance of 8 point compass stars. The herringbone is marquetry; everything else is hand cut and inlaid. I’ve never seen a more lavish inlaid box.

CONDITION
Likely had an interior till now MIA. Otherwise good condition with minor imperfections as shown.
