Inasmuch as pewter capstans are less abundant than brass sticks this one, with sharply contoured candle cup is distinctive. (most are bulbous) Circa 1680-1710. Continental, likely Spanish or Portuguese.

CONDITION
Well traveled but good and sturdy.
