We strive to operate our web page as though it were an old fashion antique shop-- with personal service and prompt communication. Unlike other online shops we do not offer a shopping cart or instant electronic service.

WE ASK THAT YOU MAKE PERSONAL CONTACT (EITHER PHONE OR EMAIL) TO MAKE PURCHASES. UPON REQUEST WE WILL SEND YOU A FORMAL INVOICE THAT WILL INCLUDE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS AND SHIPPING OPTIONS.

Payment options include Paypal,  Personal Check, or Money Order. We hold personal checks 5 business days. ITEMS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNLESS PAYMENT IS VERIFIED AND SECURED.

Custom payment options or installment plans may be available by request.

Please note: Buying and selling ancient things on the internet can be fraught with peril.  We try to mitigate risks as much as possible. Understand that anything that is genuinely old will usually have some sort of condition issues. We do our best to give concise “warts-and-all” descriptions and we have no stomach for gamesmanship or trickery.  Our integrity is not worth a few measly dollars. So all items are guaranteed for age and accuracy of description.    WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT PROSPECTIVE BUYERS EITHER CALL OR EMAIL US FOR CONCISE AND THOROUGH IN-HAND CONDITION REPORTS... OR FOR ANY QUESTIONS.


As with any reputable dealer we offer a money back satisfaction guarantee for all items. However,  it is dangerous to ship and reship old things back and forth across America. Thus we discourage frivolous or impulsive buying and apply a 10% restocking fee for returned items. In addition, buyers must take responsibility for return shipping cost in the event an item is returned. SO PLEASE KINDLY— SHOP CAREFULLY!

All items are photographed in indirect natural light to give the best approximation of "reality." But understand that "color" is a subjective reified reality entirely dependent on quality of light and intensity. This is especially applicable when dealing with textiles.

We generally ship via UPS ground the same day payment is received. ASK FOR SHIPPING QUOTES. Everything is calculated on actual shipping cost-- not a penny more. My regular customers will vouch for the fact that I WILL refund any overages if relevant after the smoke clears. Be apprised that we pay for Heritage insurance for vintage instruments and spend over $800 per year with Uline just for boxes and packing material. Shipping discounts will be applied for multiple purchases when things can be safely packaged together.

We do welcome foreign buyers, however, this can be expensive. In addition,   there are myriad forces beyond our control when shipping overseas. International shipping is risky and slow at best. Non US buyers simply must be patient.
