DESCRIPTION
The maker established pattern via three strips of botehs; main border; two minor borders. Note the way she disrupted the symmetry by imposing two little humans (probably her family) and a couple other icons in the outer rosette border.
The dyes are all legit natural with abrashes and a little bit of iron oxidation in the. brown which gives the pile a slightly sculpted effect.
There's only one way a 150 year old rug could survive in this condition. It was a beloved thing and never saw the floor..
