DESCRIPTION
Tribal composition with compact fully depressed double weft on cotton foundation— leads me to call it Northwest Persian. Its just a theory. Either way its heavy like a Bidjar and beautiful. Note farsi date (which makes no sense) and Farsi inscription (which I cannot decipher)— other than to say someone was proud of their work.
CONDITION
Good and mostly thick pile with minor exposed foundation.
