New York Jacquard Coverlet 1843

0.00

SIZE
78 in x 90  in

DESCRIPTION
"Orange" might refer to Orange County New York where Alexander and other weavers favored Jacquards with eagle borders.  Somewhat mystical weeping trees on the end-- perhaps Catalpas? Well used but beautiful, decorative, and still has nice crisp handle. Looks terrific on a Queen size bed with 9 inches of side overhang.

CONDITION
Somewhat shabby chic with several thru abrasions most evident on the dark Winter side. Also various frayed spots along the sides. The pictures tell the story. Priced accordingly.
