DESCRIPTION
Fine American 19th century still life pastel attributed to Peale School. The colors are remarkably fresh and vivid. Period gold frame with wavy glass is possibly original. Back of paper shows some foxing but it is sturdy. We had this deacidified and properly mounted with acid free backing. Exceptionally decorative piece compatible with American Period antiques.
