Rare Small Queen Ann Brass Teapot c. 1750

6” diameter; 6 1/4” to top of finial

DESCRIPTION
Cast and seamed. Bulbous form with ball feet, baluster finial, and delicately wrought gooseneck. See Gentle and Field 1975 pp 160 as well as Schiffer Brass Book pp 339-43 for comparable body, hinge and handle forms. English or Dutch. As with everything in this collection, beautiful and rare. ex Roger Speth collection.

CONDITION
Three circular globs inside bottom correspond with feet (which are original). Its early work and I’m not certain if this is original from manufacture or old repair. Otherwise Excellent. Examine photos.
